The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has long said said that fever, cough and shortness of breath are indications that someone might have the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. It has now added six more conditions that may come with the disease: chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat and new loss of taste or smell. See Source. The Government of the United Arab Emirates is offering an online training course to teach key aspects of infection and immunity to empower you in your community-based advocacy on how to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19. The course covers the chain of infection, how infectious diseases are transmitted and how to break the chain of infection through concrete preventive action. It is free of cost, 100% self-paced, estimated commitment 1 hour, and results in a certificate of completion from the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). Breaking Belize News reports on a press conference by PM Dean Barrow, saying that the first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in San Pedro, a Belizean national returning home from L.A. on Thursday, and in self-isolation. Also, about 60 Cuban doctors will arrive starting next week to help.
