Market Day Rescheduled from Fri 10th Apr to Thu 9th Apr

Hours and Minimal Services for Drivers and Vehicle Licenses

The CTC will be operating from 10am to 2pm, and only one person at a time will be allowed in the building. We encourage online payments for property taxes, trade licenses and other revenues. See Source on Facebook.

Sanitation Workers and Household Garbage

The CTC will be providing essential services only. Which means our sanitation workers will be picking up household garbage. We can help in picking up bagged grass or leaves. However we discourage residents from accumulating piles as the Council is unable to deal with that at this given moment. See Source on Facebook.

Corozal Town Council Closed

As of April 2nd 2020, the Corozal Town Council was officially closed down to comply with the State of Emergency. We will continue to provide garbage collection service as an essential service. For details, click on the small image above, or the title, or view the Source on Facebook.

GOB Clarifies Municipal Curfew and Entry Ban

The public is advised that only the Government of Belize can restrict the movement of Belizeans within Belize. Unless such restriction is enacted by the Government, municipal bodies should refrain from doing so. Also note that it is not within the purview of any municipality to institute a mandatory curfew. This can only be done by the GOB. The Government does encourage social distancing and to stay home and avoid unnecessary social interactions. See {CztTC}.

The Easter Bash scheduled for Saturday 11th April and Sunday 12th April has been cancelled in keeping with the recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. See Corozal Town Council.
